A Legacy of Learning

How It Started

2007
The Journey Begins

In January 2007, Sohail Zindani embarked on a journey fuelled by passion and a dream. With just PKR 72,000 in his pocket, he made a daring investment: a laptop that cost PKR 58,000. The remaining amount went towards business essentials for his fledgling sole proprietorship, Learning Minds. This was more than just the start of a company; it was the beginning of a vision to transform corporate learning.

2008 – 2012
A Perfect Partnership

The first year was a whirlwind of fear and self-doubt. The journey took a positive turn in 2008 when Shama Zindani joined Sohail, bringing new energy and direction. Together, they grew Learning Minds, securing 12 clients and launching 3 nationwide projects. The company hosted its first open enrolment programs, marking its arrival in the industry.

During this period, Sohail was invited to speak at prestigious events like the Asia HRD Congress (2008) and HR Summit (2009), sharing stages with renowned speakers.

2009 also saw the launch of the "Train the Trainer Bootcamp," which quickly became a trusted program for organizations.

By 2012, Learning Minds had expanded to a team of 14, exploring new areas like event management and business development. With nearly 100 clients onboard, the company firmly established itself as a major player in the corporate learning arena.

2013 – 2019
From Player to Leader

This was a golden era for Learning Minds. Expanding into the Middle East and Central Asia, they crossed the 250-client mark and hosted iconic events like the Insights Business Forum (2018 & 2019) and the Leadership Academy (2019).

They engaged over 14 trainers and consultants across diverse domains. It fast became a client-favourite and ventured into coaching and consulting opportunities to collaborate with clients on a strategic level, solidifying its position as a leader in corporate training.

2020 – 2022
The Game Changer (Covid and Post Covid)

In 2020, the pandemic tested everyone’s resilience, and Learning Minds rose to the challenge. Learning Minds vision, "Promoting Learning, No Matter What," was put to the ultimate test.

But we grew strong with the power of teamwork and right strategy to respond with pro-bono projects for distressed sectors like retail, healthcare, and hospitality, expanding our reach and impact.

We delivered over 300 virtual sessions across 13 countries, transforming adversity into an opportunity to innovate and connect on a global scale.

2023
Onwards: Exploring New Horizons

The journey continues with a bold reimagination of Learning Minds' mission. Embracing eLearning, digital innovation and cultural transformation, we are evolving to help clients solve problems in novel and exciting ways.

The guiding vision remains: "Promoting Learning, No Matter What." However, we have a new mantra to march for… “Joy of Advancement”. This is more than just a brand line; it's a belief, a commitment to making progress joyful, impactful and accessible.

Where will this journey lead next? The possibilities are endless, and the future is bright.
